1 Corinthians 1:18
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."
I like how this says that we are being saved. I think it is an encouragement that it is a continual process to being more like Christ. We just don't wake up one morning and BANG, we are perfect. We have to wake up every morning and ask God to help us be more like him. It is a struggle. But his mercy is new every morning. And as this verse also reminds me, we have to power of God on our side. And that is not foolishness!! No matter how much the world considers us crazy. Run the race with confidence! Press on towards the prize.
