Shelves in kitchen update

Look. Now we can watch rabbits out our back window too. The cedar chest is prototyping a window seat for us.

Also, what can I store in the cedar chest? I don't want anything to smell like it.

  1. Not sure if it will retain the smell but how about kitchen things not used often? Extra cookie cutters, appliances not used often or just easy access to them? Canning supplies? That's all I got off the top of my head! Love seeing your house projects as we attempt to accomplish our own!

    1. Canning supplies and cookie cutters are probably a safe option! Great idea. I will test them out. I was trying to think of glass and metal things. I know that plastic or cloth will absorb the smell. Im a little scared to put in my crockpot. I don't really want to take cedar infused food to Sunday evening dinner. :)
