I do not. It stresses me out knowing what time it is, how long it was since I was last awake, and how long I have until I have to wake up.
Jared, I find out this morning, is stressed out by not knowing what time it is when he wakes up. He likes to know if he has 5 minutes, 30 minutes, or several hours of sleep left.
So, which camp do you fall into? Do you avoid the clock or look for it?
I look at the clock... I want to know how long it's been since I was last up with a child and how much longer I have to hopefully sleep. Even if it's just 5 minutes longer, I'll savor it! And if it's the 3rd time in an hour up with a kid, I'll try and figure out if possible ear infection or teething and try and help them instead of getting mad. Heh.
ReplyDeleteI like to look at the clock. It makes me happy to know I can go back to sleep for a while. Also, good to know I haven't slept through an alarm or something.
ReplyDeleteSurprise I usually look..always happy if its a couple hours earlier than i thought it was!
