I love your C.S Lewis quotes, have been reading and contemplating some of the same ideas (different author). I also love The Last Battle; when I reread that as an adult, I had one of my first clear pictures of heaven. I have always loved that idea of THIS world being the shadowlands and heaven being so much more beyond what we can imagine...even the most beautiful things here are nothing but a shadow of heaven's gifts for us!
