For the many of you that have asked to see Jared's house I post this picture.
I was telling him that I love pink dogwoods and I wished that we could have one someday. So he sent me a picture and said, "like this one?" Apparently Jared has had a pink dogwood in his yard since he moved in last May and I never noticed (in my defense I have only been over there four times and the tree wouldn't have had its flowers in bloom when I went).
So here is a picture of my adorable house-to-be!! And my lovely pink dogwood-to-be. So exciting. I can't wait to be able to wake up and look out my front window at this beautiful tree. Love love love. Isn't Jared's house adorable?!? I adore it. And he has planted a whole bunch of bushes and plants recently too so the front looks even better. :) Oh, and note the white handrail... I painted that with Anna's help.
I love Jared.
thanks for posting this! it's the first time i've seen his house! soooo cute :)
ReplyDeleteCute house! It will be the site of many happy moments!
ReplyDelete(When's my lunch invitation coming)?
Oh, will July 11 ever get here!
ReplyDeleteMom, Mom, mom. It will get here soon enough. Plus we have tons to do until it gets here. Being single has its advantages as well. You need to enjoy ALL of life. :) I can't always be looking forward to the next big event.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, it is adorable! I love the colors. In a few months I will try to post colors of the inside.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit, I am jealous of that house!! After the first time I saw it I told Ben, "Man, Faith is so lucky to get married and move right into an amazing 'adult' house like that."
ReplyDeleteand Ben said "Linnea, you should be content. And besides if we had waited til I could have afforded something like that we wouldn't be getting married for another 5 years."
and I said "yea."
!! the point is...you've got it good!
Well, we could have moved into something else and gotten married two years ago, but yeah. I love this little house and I think waiting has helped us both be better at understanding each other and communicating and a host of other things.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I guess I am saying, be glad you are at least married and live in the same place as your favorite person in the world. :) I envy that sometimes. And yes, I am thankful for my little house-to-be and husband-to-be.
um...faith you mean you would have married while still in school? i don't believe that you little work horse!!
ReplyDeletegreat house. what fun to start life together...and with a dogwood too!! :)
ha ha. Well, if Jared had moved up to CP with me I might have. I wouldn't have given up school for him (back then anyhow). I might have now.
ReplyDeleteKnowing that I am actually getting married has made me lazy about schoolwork. It doesn't seem to matter anymore. I might seem to work hard, but not really. There have only been three weekends this whole semester that I haven't come home to visit Jared. :)
Cute, cute, cute.
