In my last post I forgot to say how AMAZING my ring is!! All I told Jared was that I wanted it to be traditional and classy and not too big and white gold. I know Jared is great at picking out gifts for me. He is always so particular about what he gets. I knew that he would do a great job. And he didn't disappoint. Afterwards, I asked him how long he had my ring and he asked, "this ring?" I looked at him and said, "were there others?" Sheepishly he admitted that this was the third one that he had bought for me. :D That is my Jared. My ring is perfect for me!! It is the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen. The stone isn't too small and it isn't too big. It sparkles like crazy and I love to play with it. I couldn't have imagined it any better. Jared is great. My ring is perfect. :D Weeeeeeee!!!
Anna kindly took a few pictures of us today. This is probably the best shots you are going to get of my ring until 1) you come see it in person or 2) I get my wedding photos.
Jared actually held my hand. ha ha. I can't wait to be able to hold his hand and hug him whenever I want. That will be so fun.
I know the pictures are kind of goofy, but then so are Jared and I. I hope that these make Jamie and Dasha, Mrs. Shelton, Linnea, and others in far off lands very happy. :) Oh and my ring really is incredible!! I love it more each minute. Weeeeeeeeeeee!
"A long time ago, in a land far away..." We sound like we're out of a fairy tale or something. Anyway, thanks for the pics... we DO appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteAH!!! So incredibly happy for you. Thanks for a pic of the ring (and the happy couple) for those of us poor souls that can't be around to see it in person. and Faith, our rings look almost identical - love that. Peter bought multiple stones for me too before finding the right one. ah, love . . . you are blessed my dear. very blessed.
ReplyDeleteOur dearest, sweetest, loveliest Faith and Jared are engaged... It is truly a blessed day. Thank you for sharing your joy with us :)

ReplyDeleteWow that middle picture is so wonderful! You both look so joyful!
ReplyDeleteReading this post made my heart happy because that theme "lazy-summer-day-just-putzing-around-with boyfriend" is so magically familiar to me! Savor this, Faith!

ReplyDelete1. I have a new brainstorming blog. Mom, this is mainly for you so you can see what is happening in my head. SEE the LINK on the sidebar.
ReplyDelete2. Jamie it sort of like a fairy tale, isn't it?!?
3. Sarah, I have always loved you ring!! That is awesome that we have matching rings! So cool. So cool.
4. Dasha you are so sweet. I am glad you are happy. I'm happy. :D
5. All the rest of you, thanks for the nice messages and kind words (I can't read anymore, they don't fit in the screen while I am typing and I am too lazy to scroll down - heh).
6. Yes, I like 7.11.09 as well. It is probably my favorite.
7. Yes, Mom, Walle was adorable. It was so much fun.
My vote is also 07-11-09. If that's the date, Lord willing I will actually be there! if I'm invited. Haha.
ReplyDeleteRachel Taylor... your goal is to plan a grad party near this date so both can be attended. ;)
Congratulations, I should have probably said that first. It is truly a happy day that many have anticipated from long ago... and now it's here! I wish I was there to share in your joy. You've got yourself a good guy, can't wait to see how God directs your future as ONE! Woo-hoo!
Okay, Anna. I will take that into consideration. I like when people tell me hard facts like I can come on this date next summer. Then I am like, yes, I will plan it that date or if I didn't like the person I would try to avoid that date. ha ha ha. I am leaning towards July 11. If you were to come a week earlier, you could be here for the 4th of july party as well. :D That would be fun.
ReplyDeletewell, I certainly think July 11th sounds nice. July and November are the two best months ( my favorite months ).
ReplyDeleteAnd that is a good point . . . if you have it on the 11th maybe we could make it to the ever wonderful Harr 4th Party!
And you could make it to Rachel's graduation party, whenever that is... :D
ReplyDelete17(now 18) comments-is that a record?
ReplyDeleteGuess I'd better start planning Rachel's grad party:-)
A WEDDING AND JULY 4th PARTY??!! Let's not send your mother over the edge!
Oh, she'll be fine. She is amazing at planning these things. We can't skip the party on the 4th. It would break tradition!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Suzanne--a 4th party a week before a wedding???!!!! Are you nuts!!!!!?????
ReplyDeleteAlthough I agree it is a shame to break with tradition------
Mmmmmm-Suzanne, what were WE doing a week before the wedding? just kicking back--we could have easily thrown a big party...
Yeah, I guess I am nuts... nuts about Jared!! That was for Jared, who never reads my blog, but that is what he says to me all the time. So I had to say it. ha ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI guess you will all just have to help out more then normal... I refuse to have my wedding cancel my favorite holiday (now that thanksgiving isn't as well attended as it used to be).
Um, I was kinda thinking with a wedding so close, we might skip, but then again, what's life without some excitement? Let's see how it is all going by June and then decide, ok? I love our
ReplyDelete4th parties, though, so we'll see! Do you think people would want to do things with the Harrs two weekends in a row? Wow, you all are so nice.
OH NO!!! Not my last official Harr Fourth of July Party as a Harr. I guess I will have to really enjoy this year...
ReplyDeleteOkay, 8.1.09 is out. One of my small group girls has planned her wedding that day.
ReplyDeleteI say just all the Harr KIDS throw the 4th party. That way, Mrs. Sue doesn't have to worry about!!
ReplyDelete(Not that i will be able to attend this years OR next years party. . . i just like giving my 2 cents)
hahah!
quick! keep commenting. faith loves 3's so let's get this up to 33! I say July 11.
