banisters always make me think of 'Oliver' where 'there's a long, think winding stair case without any banister and we throw you down'...
I slid down banisters in the stairwell at the hotel in VA :) They are fun...

I think of one of two things: Ella Enchanted, and a picture from the book, "Jake Baked the Cake." I love Baker Jake.
